Wakiso Giants target to complete a double when we visit Tooro United at the St. Paul Seminary Play Ground, Fort Portal on Wednesday.

Viane Ssekajugo lone strike decided the reverse fixture at the Wakissha Resource Centre in September but a lot has changed since then.

Heading into the game, we drew 1-1 with Bright Stars at home while Tooro United registered same score line away to Maroons.

Team News

Karim Ndugwa returns to the team after serving a one match ban due to accumulation of three yellow cards.

Goalkeeper Derrick Emukule is doubtful after picking a knock in the previous outing.

Aggrey Madoi is available for selection for the first time since the first day of the second round.

A win will give us our first ever double over any top flight side since gaining promotion.

Tooro United have won 3 of the 10 homes games this season losing 5 while our away form reads 1 win and 3 draws in 10 games.

Tooro United are winless in the last five games but have picked two draws in a row.

Viane Ssekajugo is targeting his 9th goal of the UPL

Baker Kasule – Assistant coach

“Our performance in the last game was good but the result was a little disappointing. We were lethargic in front of goal but have worked on that and hopefully, we shall do well against Tooro United although it’s going to be a tough game.”
