Two days after picking a valuable point away to URA, Wakiso
Giants return to action on Tuesday with another big game against KCCA at home.
The Purple Sharks’ last home game ended in a disappointing 2-2
draw despite leading 2-0 at half time and the boys will be eager to rectify
that against the 13-time champions.
Coach Douglas Bamweyana says the boys have prepared well
despite the limited time between games and is confident of picking all three
points against the Kasasiro.
“Having played on Saturday, we are trying to balance loading
recovery and we feel we have prepared well enough,” he told the club media. “We
are aware of the threats of the opponents but we are looking forward to
tomorrow,” he added.
Team News
“The whole team is ready. We don’t have any injury concerns
and everyone is good to go,” said Bamweyana.
Key Stats
This will be the second league meeting with KCCA edging the
previous one, 1-0 at Lugogo on match day one of last season.
With 13 points in 7th position, KCCA are only
