Hassan Ssenyonjo
and Viane Ssekajugo remain in contention for berths on the final Chan team
after being named in the 25-man squad for the Pre-Chan tournament.
The tournament
takes place in Cameroon between January 1 and 7, 2021 in Cameroon with hosts,
Niger, Zambia and The Uganda Cranes.
Unfortunately,
there is no place for our other players Yasin Mugume and Geriga Atendele who
have been part of the team training at Lugogo since last week.
Only 23 players
will make the final squad for the Chan tournament where Uganda is placed in
Group C along with Rwanda, Togo and holders Morocco.
Good luck to
Ssekajugo and Ssenyonjo!
