With the 2022/23 season kicking off next week, Hassan Ssenyonjo targets improved performances and rankings that are better than last season.
The team captain is aware of what lies ahead and wants him and teammates to do better.
“We are doing well in terms of preparations and we shall be ready for the season,” said Ssenyonjo.
“The new coaches are doing a fantastic job and the incoming players have also improved the squad and the competition for places,” he added.
“For us, the target is to do better than last season and probably achieve what we failed to achieve. In the league, the aim is to compete and finish in the top five places.”
Last season, the Purple Sharks ended the campaign in 7th position and lost in the quarter finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
