Wakiso Giants is pleased to confirm that Bashir Ssekagya has
joined the club, signing a contract until 2024 with an option for a further
year.
The goalkeeper joins the Purple Sharks as a free agent after
ending his stay with Kenya Premier League side Wazito where he established
himself as the undisputed number one since leaving Vipers SC.
Bashir Sekagya said: “It’s an exciting opportunity for me to
continue my growth as a goalkeeper with such an ambitious club and will do all
in my abilities to help the club achieve their ambitions.”

we believe he will be of value to the squad.”
Sekagya becomes the club’s first signing in the window.

He was born in 1998 and came through the ranks at the KCCA
Junior Team.
In 2017, he starred for UPDF in 2017/18 and emerged as one
of the best goalkeepers in the UPL before he joined Vipers SC.
He spent two seasons (2018/19 & 2019/20) at the Kitende
based side and also played on loan at Proline.
Last season, he emerged as one of the best goalkeepers in
Kenya last season at Wazito.
