The Purple Sharks seek to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Police when we visit Mbarara City at Bombo on Wednesday.
The Ankole Lions are one of coach Charles Livingstone Mbabazi former team and thus know a thing or two about him as well as he knows he about them.
Like Sharks, Mbarara City also lost their previous encounter 1-0 to KCCA and will be keen on returning to winning ways but the boys have exhibited confidence ahead of the clash.
Tom Masiko returns to the team after a long injury lay off and is available for selection.
Kirizestom Ntambi remains out and so is new signing Geriga Atendele whose paperwork has delayed his debut.
The Sharks won the reverse fixture 2-1 at Wankulukuku – Masiko and Ntambi scored the goals.
A win for the Sharks will see them complete a double over a team in the premier league for the first time.
The last time the Sharks played at Bombo, they won 3-0 against Kyetume.
Karim Ndugwa if selected will face his former bosses just like Mbabazi and his assistants.
Mbarara City has lost two of their seven home games this season, winning four and drawing the other.
Viane Ssekajugo (forward)
“We are prepared for the task ahead of us. We lost against a Police but that’s now behind us. What matters is how you bounce back and am confident we shall do so with a win.
Ibrahim Kiyemba (defender)
“It’s a normal game and we go into it without pressure. We have corrected our mistakes from the previous game and I believe we shall win it. I call upon all our fans to come in large numbers and be behind us
