Alex Gitta was left to rue officiating decisions in the 1-0 defeat to Soltilo Bright Stars at Kavumba on Wednesday.
An unfortunate own goal by Lubwama five minutes to the break hurt the Purple Sharks.
However, late on, Frank Ssebuufu hit the back of the net but shockingly; assistant referee Hakim Mulindwa raised his offside flag.
“A lot of decisions went against us including what was a legit goal disallowed,” said Gitta. “I applaud my boys for the performance and character and surely, they deserved something from the game but we move on,” he added.
Gitta made several changes in the team leaving most of his starters on the bench before introducing them late on.
“For us, every player is important and it showed with the performance. Of course we also had the game against Vipers in mind over the weekend.”
Goalkeeper Yunus Baker was impressive on his debut while defender Ambrose Alinda played well on his second start.
