The football season return date could be a mystery but players continue to work out on individual basis as per the coaches’ guidelines.
In a period of uncertainty at the moment, Derrick Emukule has urged his teammates to stay focused and work as a team when football returns insisting team work beats talent.
“Talent wins games but team work and intelligence win championships,” he said.
The goalie who took over the number one position after the departure of skipper Yasin Mugabi has also declared himself ready anytime the season returns.
“I am safe and ready,” he insists.
The Purple Sharks have five remaining fixtures against Express (a), KCCA (h), Proline (a), URA (a) and SC Villa (h) to complete the league and are also still in contention for the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
