Afcon 2023 qualifiers: Aliro summoned for national duty

Moses Aliro has been summoned to the Uganda Cranes national team for preparations ahead of the start of the 2023 TotalEnergies Afcon qualifiers.

The attacking midfielder is part of the 33-man preliminary squad that starts preparations on Monday 23.

Aliro has been rewarded for his performances through the season that has seen scored over a dozen goals in his first campaign with us.

“It’s a pleasure to be summoned on the team and I promise to give my best to impress the coaches,” Aliro told the club media.

Uganda plays on June 4 away to former Afcon winners Algeria before hosting Niger four days later at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende.
